A remarkable thing about time ghosts is that, because Time City keeps re-using the same patch of space and time, they appear throughout the City's history, even before the events that brought them into being have occurred. At the time that A Tale of Time City begins, there are still several notable once-ghosts, including the Endless ghost, whose origins still lie in the future.
