It is the only one of Diana Wynne Jones's novels to have been made into a movie (so far). See Howl's Moving Castle movie.
The sequel to this book is Castle In The Air.

LR 10/10 My favourite DWJ book, How's Moving Castle is pure magic, with wit and nailbiting moments. I couldn't put this book down from the word go and have loved it ever since. My only fault would be that this book lacks a little in even pacing.
Fenric 10/10 I can't give this book a high enough rating. Not only is it my favourite DWJ book, it is my favourite childhood novel as well! The story is magical and the characters are amazing!
Fi 10/10 My all time favourite book. I've read it about once a year every year since I was ten (14 years) and I still love it just as much every time I re-read it as I did the first time. Plot - satisfyingly chewy; Characters - vivid, whether lovable or fiendish; Ideas - some of the best in all DWJ (and that's saying something).
